1158 BIBBS ROAD, VOORHEES, NJ 08043

Located just across the river from Philadelphia, the city of Camden reflects the urban nature of Camden County, while Cherry Hill (just to the east of Camden) reflects the more suburban personality of the county. Camden’s popular Waterfront promenade offers several attractions, such as the USS New Jersey museum, the Susquehanna Bank Center, Campbell’s Field, the Adventure Aquarium, the Walt Whitman House, and the Walt Whitman Cultural Arts Center.

Fifteen minutes to the east of Camden is Cherry Hill, named one of the ‘Best Places to Live’ and ‘Safest Places to Live’ by Money. A prominent town of residential neighborhoods occupied by working professionals, Cherry Hill offers proximity to Philadelphia without the hustle-and-bustle of the city. Many visitors come from all over the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area for the Cherryhill Mall. In addition to Cherry Hill, Haddonfield is another popular suburb in the county; located ten miles from Camden, Haddonfield is home to dozens of galleries, antique shops, boutiques, and sidewalk cafes. The town also hosts a popular fine arts and crafts festival, numerous seasonal events, and a noteworthy seasonal farmer’s market.

While living in Camden County, it is impossible to ignore Philadelphia. Located just across the Delaware River from Camden County, there are endless options for entertainment, dining, and site-seeing in the "City of Brotherly Love." Some popular attractions in Philadelphia include: the Philadelphia Art Museum (one of the largest art museums in the United States), the avant-garde shops and restaurants on South Street, the historic Independence Hall and Liberty Bell, the Gallery at Market East stores, Gophila, and Lincoln Financial Field (home field of the Philadelphia Eagles). There are several routes of transportation into Philadelphia from Camden County. The Ben Franklin Bridge offers direct access into Philadelphia from the city of Camden, while Gloucester city (south of Camden) offers access via the Walt Whitman Bridge. There are several methods of public transportation, including New Jersey Transit and Greyhound buses and trains from Camden County into Center City Philadelphia on the PATCO Speedline. The River Line provides light rail service to the state’s capital, Trenton, which is located less than an hour north. Public bus transportation is also available for travel into Atlantic City, which is over an hour from Camden County. The New Jersey Shore point, Ocean City, is also located more than an hour from the area.
