Nearby, on 42nd Street, people can visit such exciting museum attractions as Madame Tussaud’s to see wax sculptures of their favorite celebrities and famous historical figures, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Also in the area are the International Center of Photography, the Carnegie Hall Rose Museum, and the Museum of Art and Design. Returning to 42nd Street, it also features two enormous movie theatre multiplexes, facing one another—the AMC Empire and the Crown Regal. Restaurants in the area include Orso and Barbetta, Jekyll & Hyde, a theme restaurant modeled after classic horror movies, full of ghouls and goblins and mad scientist laboratories, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Carnegie Deli, Grey’s Papaya, Hard Rock Café, and Planet Hollywood in Times Square, Firebird,
Baluchi’s, Yum Yum Bangkok, Le Pain Quotidien, and Amy’s Bread.

Famous clubs, night spots and bars include Birdland, a famous jazz club, Zanzi Bar, Swing 46, Film Center Café, Russian Vodka Room, Town, Nation, and

Area transportation includes the red, blue, orange, and yellow subway lines, as well as the 7 train, and uptown, downtown, and crosstown buses. Port Authority, of course, offers, travel in and out of the city via buses.
